Our History The origin of Grayshott Colts Football Club remains a mystery. We know of a challenge match between Grayshott Under 11's and Headley Under 11's held to celebrate the Queen's silver jubilee
in 1977 but few records remain. If you know anything about the club we would be glad to hear from you. Volunteers The club is a not for profit organisation run on a voluntary basis by the team managers and
committee members who kindly give up their own time. 2008/9 SubscriptionsWe are keeping our subscriptions lower than other local teams:
- Under 7 and 8
- £60
- Under 9 and 10
- £87.50
- Under 11 and over
- £97.50
- Second child

Annual subscriptions pay towards the costs of league registration, running the club, i.e. paying for the use of the recreation ground and club house, equipment (balls, goals, kit etc), Public
Liability Insurance*, entry fees to leagues, referee charges for league games and so on.During winter months, the cost of using the astroturf training facilities at "The Edge" sports centre in Haslemere or "Bohunt
School" in Liphook is not included in subscriptions and the cost is currently £1/training session per player. 2 Passport size photo's are required for each players to register with the club and relevant league.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: The Public Liability Insurance held by Grayshott Colts FC does not include Personal Accident and Medical Treatment cover
for players and officials. You are therefore advised to make individual arrangements for this Insurance. ShopAt home matches a shop selling tea,
coffee, bacon rolls, hot dogs, sweets and drinks is usually open in the clubhouse (although this is dependant on kind volunteers being available to run it). All proceeds from the shop go towards the club.
Team & Pitch Sizes Under 7 to under 10 teams all play 7-a-side on small sided pitches with smaller goals. Older teams play 11-a-side on full size pitches with full sized goals. Social EventsAs a club we pride ourselves on our friendliness. Many of the children are
already friends through school and playing football together increases this friendship as well as giving new friends. The touchlines at home and away matches are normally bristling with supportive parents shouting
encouragement, who through their childrens football have also developed friendships. The main social events of the year are the Christmas Ball (December parents only), Summer Ball (June parents only), the end of
season awards ceremony (June) and the mixed age team tournament (May) which also includes a Dad's match, bar and barbeque. Other social events are less formal including trips to league football matches and watching
major sports events on the large screen at the nearby Grayshott Social Club. Club Constitution The Club Constitution can be downloaded here.Spectator Code of Conduct Our Spectator Code of Conduct
